Default Hillclimbs

Those of you that like to race on the street, this is for you. The PHA runs a 9 race series which is SCCA sanctioned and 7 of the races are on the street. They close the street down for 2 days and we race, time trial style(1 car at a time), as fast as you can go til the finish line. There are minimum safety requirements to meet: roll bar/cage, fire suit, fire extinguisher, harnesses. Solo and GCR classes are what runs in this series. 2 of the races are on the Jefferson Circuit at Summit Point which we use to work out any bugs in the car before we hit the street. Oh, 1 thing I left out that you need is BALLS and a large set if you want to be competitive. There are about 5 mustangs that run in the series and it would be nice to have more.

So if you are racing on the street, stop and come join us. No tickets! No pedestrians! No traffic! Courses are from 1 to 2.3 miles in length and 100mph to 120mph is an easy target.

www.pahillclimb.org is the site. They've been around for 50yrs. Some races have been around for 100+.

This was last weekend:
