Default 4.0 / Oil surge questions

I posted this in the 4.0 Tech section & didn't get much of a response so I'm posting it here -

I searched & didn't find anything - So any help would be greatly appreciated.
As shown by my signature, I have a 2008 - 4.0 - V6 that I am setting up to run track events. I was hopping to set the chassis up first & get a few days in before I open up the engine.
My questions are -

How good is the stock oil pan in stopping surging when cornering?
I prefer not to run an accusump.

Are there aftermarket baffled pans available?
Has anyone had oiling issues when tracking their vehicle?

Thanks to all in advance

The 4.0SOHC oil pan is actually two pieces and has a built in girdle that also acts as a pretty good windage tray. I have open tracked and autocrossed mine a lot with no oil problem at all.

I haven't opened the engine yet to check things out. Thanks for the response. I have been tied up at work & will be until mid to late February. Big new project was dumped in my lap. I can't complain because I have several friends who haven't been working for a long time. We will be using dedicated 265 series Hankook Rs3 initially but will probably be bumped up in class after initial tech so Hoozers are a very strong possibility in the future. I appreciate the input.
I am hopping be able to concentrate on the chassis before dedicating time on the drive train.
Thanks again
