SCCA in Atlanta
Today (June 1st), Took my 'stang to an SCCA AutoX event at Turner Field in Atlanta. First time too, my bro signed me up in the novice class, but the next time I participate, I'm running STX class.
I think the average made the track at least a minute. I failed to take any pictures of track day, even though I set up my camera, but I have four time slips (on sticky notes). I went from a 63.496 to a 58.710.
The five runs I was given, I did not hit a single cone, spin out, or get a DNF. I'm quite surprised myself.
One downside (may be an upside in other situations), after my first run, I got warned by three different event people my car was potentially running louder than 93 dB. I've got Long tubes, hi-flow cats, and glass packs... Might have to swap to chambered now.
