ok guys, this guy is a liar. he has no reciepts, no dyno sheets, no track slips, i know the previous owner who sold him the car as it sits today. if it was 530 hp he wouldnt be running it on the stock turbo manifold. doesnt have a big 16g turbo, the people he supposably bought parts from and built it have no recollection of it all, friends with one of the employees and they have never done a damn thing on it.
if it was really a 530hp talon it wouldnt have got beat by 2 car lengths by a 265whp cobalt(my old car) when i raced the previous owner. about 2 weeks ago he got smashed by my friends d15 turbo hatch. stock engine running 12lbs.
so ya he is lying do not trade or anything with him.
if it was built like he says it would go for atleast double what hes asking.
btw his so called friend who built this car(the previous owner) has posted multiple times on craigslist warning people to not buy this car due to him being a liar.
Ive personally met the previous owner after we raced and he never built this car or ran a 10sec pass.
ask him for any proof of it being a built engine, 530hp, or a 10 sec car.
do some research and see if you could or would use the stock turbo manifold and make that kind of power.
hell have him take a picture of his injectors close up and searchthe part number.
if you can or want to you can check portland.craigslist every other day or so and see the previous owner post about it. he leaves his phone number and all.
i just wished you guys would see his post a few weeks back til now. Its been severely editted as time has passed.
first english racing built the engine(from craigslist) now his friend did(on here)
all im saying is ask a few questions about it.
nothing wrong with him providing this proof. hell PIR is open tonight and i will pay for this kid to go and run a 10 second or even a low 11 just to shut me up.
