Hi all. I have to get rid of these 2 cars by the end of the month.
I have a 1995 Ford Thunderbird LX with a 4.6 SOHC 2V V8 engine and automatic transmission. This car runs and drives pretty good. Last year it was painted, got 4 new tires, a new water pump, and a new battery. It has about 120,000 miles on it. It needs a little bit of front end work (I think the tie rods are a little off), and the transmission has the notorious Ford shutter when it changes gears. I have had this car for about 3 years and it has been very reliable. The oil pressure gauge reads low at times even though the oil level is correct so I suspect the gauge is faulty. This car would be perfect if you are looking for a project car. Again it does run and drive good.
The second car I am selling is a 1996 Lincoln Mark VIII. It has the original 4.6 DOHC 4V V8 engine with about 150,000 miles and automatic transmission. I bought this to do a conversion in the T-Bird but I have to get rid of both cars because I might be moving. The engine in this car runs smooth and the transmission is good. However the engine was leaking coolant from the oil filter adapter gasket. Other than that it ran pretty good. The engine will start but I used parts from it (ignition wires, MAF sensor, accessory belt, etc) for my other Mark VIII. These parts will need to be replaced for it to run or it will have to be towed. I also used some interior parts for my other Mark VIII. This car will need a lot of attention which is why it is better suited as a donor for a project. Again, I was gonna use the engine and trans to convert the T-Bird into a high performance 4V engine.
$1500 takes both of these cars and some random extra parts for both of them. I live in Monmouth county of NJ so feel free to email me (superaven210@yahoo.com) if you are interested. You can come by and see both cars and even drive the T-Bird if you'd like. I really need these cars gone by Oct. 30. The price is firm but I will consider trades...contact me if you have any questions at all. Thanks...
I am running out to work so I do not have time to post pictures (sorry)...I will post pictures up first thing in the morning (I can also email pictures)...
