Selling a GARRETT GTP38 Turbocharger from a 7.3L Ford Powerstroke/Navistar Turbo diesel. Bought this from a friend of mine who was planning on using it for a drag turbo. He had everything fabricated then decided to sell the car when he bought a 350Z to rebuild (he owns a body shop) It came with my intercooler and bov but is way to big for my needs. Compressor A/R is 1.10, and exhaust A/R is .84 I'd recommend a rebuild as the compressor fins are a little rough, everything else seems ok, minimal shaft play. Worked when removed from vehicle. New these things go for around 1k, and rebuilt they go for 700. So if you have the knowledge buy it and make a couple of bucks. Price is OBO, I just want to get rid of this thing. Figured somebody would want it, or have a larger motor to use it on, or know somebody who may want it.
I'm asking $300 obo...its an average of what I saw on ebay, so shoot me any offers, I just want it sold so I can get a T25 for my build. A friend of mine recommended this site to me since a couple of 5.0 guys have used this turbo before.
