I may be interested, few questions though. What is the difference between these HIDs and the aftermarket HIDs (like retro-solutions) besides the DOT approved on Saleens? What is the kelvin rating? And why are you selling it?

I am not really sure of the specs on them. Other HIDs just replace the bulbs whereas these modify the whole housing, thats pretty much the only difference. I am selling them because I ended up with two sets. If I didnt already have a set I would definitely not be selling them. They are one of my favorite mods on my saleen. Yeah, do they shine or give more light output than aftermarket HIDs?

I am not sure how they compare to other HIDs but here are the specs on the HIDs that Saleen uses. The ballast is a 35 XT-D1/12V and I am pretty sure the bulb is a D1S. Its either the D1R or D1S I have to check.

For sure. I think I'm going to stick with the aftermarkets for now but if I want a set of saleens, I will contact you to see if you still have it. Thanks though.

The HIDs are still in the original box. I have not even taken them out yet. I can take pics of the box and the part number on the box if you like just to confirm they are real and in there.
