Default 05-09 TruFiber Hood

Category: Exterior - Body Parts
Price: $250
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits: S197
Location (State/Prov): PA
Item Condition: Used

Hello All,
I have a TruFiber Ram-Air hood for sale. I was going to use this as a little project, but it looks like my financial situation will have this sitting the the basement for awhile... I figure someone with a bit of "know-how" can reap the rewards. Pardon the dust on the hood.

The good:
Functional Ram-Air already built in
Hood itself in pretty decent condition.

The bad:
Repaint is needed. As you can see from the pics, areas with bends or corners are peeling. Not a huge deal, but repairable.
The bottom points of the hood, where the hood meets the windshield, is rounded off. That too, is repairable.

I'd much rather have the hood picked-up than shipped. I'm around Philadelphia, PA. I am also willing to consider offers, but keep in mind, the price is already more than half off a new one.

Feel free to ask any questions.

The only issue is paint? Is there any damage to the hood itself? I live in DE and drive up north frequently

The only "damage" is that the points of the hood are rounded off. Very easy fix though with some spot putty. Ill take a pic and post it.

Here is a pic. That is the only thing besides the paint. As you can see, it doesn't have that "point", but its only about 1/8 an inch off. A spot putty can put the point right back on there, and the paint would cover that up.

No, I don't, sorry. It's really only 1/8 of an inch. Not really noticeable at all, especially when it gets a fresh coat of paint.
