I was nervous at first, but it's actually pretty easy to get the bumper off. There's two screws on each side (wheel well), and four underneath the bumper. Take off the radiator cover, two 8mm bolts and the bumper should "pop" out. The AM guide says to jack the car and remove the wheels, but that's not necessary. I left my wheels on, and didnt' remove the fender wells.
