Category: Accessories
Price: $75
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits: S197
Location (State/Prov): FL
Item Condition: Used

Stock cam covers off my 2006 mustang gt. I replaced them with frpp covers. No gaskets. Mine were leaking and the gaskets felt hard compared to the new gaskets, so I tossed them. I will only accept paypal. Pm me for paypal email address.

Price includes shipping, but if you happen to live near Gainesville/palatka/St Augustine, I will gladly meet you someone and take $50.

I have a 2006 saleen 281sc, the valve covers should fit right? I'm looking for a pair to get powder coated.

Yes, they will fit any 4.6 3v motor. In 2006-2007 they changed the valve covers to an 11 or 10 bolt, but they all still have 15 bolt holes in the heads.

If you have the 10 bolt covers, then some of the holes in the heads will be covered up, but you can still see two of the unused holes in the top of the heads. I think Ford realized they didn't need 15 bolts, so they changed the covers to simplify installation. They didn't change the heads though.

are the valve covers a pain to change with a SC engine. I have the 15 bolt patteren, but does look like much room on my motor to change valve covers

They are a pain to change on any 3v 4.6. With my whipple, i had to remove the CAI, COP's, disconnect injectors, cam position sensors, removed the battery and tray for more room on the passenger side. Removing the dipstick tube would make it easier, but I just unbolted it from the block. I made a post about it Here.
