OK can you answer a couple more questions for me? Im a single dad of two in the Army so I do a lot of highway driving hence the questions. Can you cover the drone noise with the radio as well? I don't live close enough to you to see for myself that's why I ask. I just want to make sure I don't get annoyed because of a loud drone with no way to cover it up on long road trip or yell to talk to my passengers. These questions not being able for even MRT people to answer is the only thing keeping me from pulling the trigger on this set from you. I just always hear people who have drone issues having their ears hurt or ringing after the drive and all. I am trying to avoid that for me and my kids. Some drone is fine.

Its not bad at all for me. The drone does get heavy when you are cruising in 6th gear around 2k rpm and punch the gas. The drone is in a very narrow range. Otherwise, its not bad at all and is easily masked in my opinion by the radio or just having the windows open. I can easily hold a conversation in the car without yelling at the passenger.
