So im looking at getting a 2017 GT and having the dealer install the Roush 2300 Supercharger. Right now i have a Challenger Scat Pack that fits my 10 month old and 6 year old in the back pretty good. I know the rear seat in the Mustangs are tight. How do you guys make it work with your kids? Can you make the rear facing car seat for a baby work as well? If so any seats fit better then the others? Thanks..

Car seats come in very different sizes. Especially your 10 month-old child's car seat shouldn't be that big. I would take the care, if possible, and go to the nearby store where they sell car seats and would try few and get the one that fits the size.

Rear facing seats for younger kids are the biggest pain because they dont sit vertical and right up against the back seat. Instead there more parallel and take up a lot more room. Even in my Challenger i have to put it in the middle rear seat to make it work and the Mustang does not have that option since its only a 4 seater.

not sure if it'll fit in the s550, but it fits in tight areas due to being able to snap in and out of its base. is your issue entry/exit or actual space once installed?

Very similar to the seat i already have... Mine has a base that stays in the cars and it just snapes in and out.

i was able to get my daughter in my 03 rear facing, and later when she was bigger , front facing. the only issue was with her in the back the passenger front seat was too far forward for a normal sized human to sit in, and she couldnt go behind the drivers seat unless i wanted to make love to the steering wheel. i imagine that you will have slightly more room. FWIW

Yeah its starting to make me remember why i bought the Challenger. Lol... Im really hoping i can make this work tho cause a 700hp Supercharged 2017 mustang GT for the price i paid for my Scat Pack sounds sweet!!! But i know its a super tight fit in the rear seat of the stang..
