Turbo Question
One of my friends has a turbo unit he might sell me cheap and we were thinking about just building the rest of it. He runs the machine shop here at my college and he's also done a lot of automotive stuff. He was saying the easiest way to do it would be to have one header run to it and then just go to the h-pipe and keep the other side of the exhaust stock. I know most of the single turbo kits they sell have the other header connect over to the turbo as well then split back out into two to hook to the h-pipe. I just wanted to see if anyone had any opinions on this and if it would still flow fine if I went with his suggestion. Thanks

RE: Turbo Question
Im sorry, but that sounds like your buddy has not the slightest idea what he is talking about. As a matter of fact you might be dumber just for hearing such nonsense. A turbo is a huge exhaust restiction. Running it off one side will throw off the power ballence of the engine and cause all sorts of wierd drivability problems. Always run turbos off ALL the cylinders.

RE: Turbo Question
That is wrong on so many levels. Definitely don't go with his suggestion. Then I don't think I would take anything else he says as factual from here on out. If someone gives out incorrect information of that magnitude, then I would really question if they have a clue what they are talking about.

RE: Turbo Question
I was just kinda hoping it would be possible cuase it would make putting one together a whole lot easier. I know it's just common sense and it was a longshot, but oh well, thanks
