Nitrous Or Supercharger

RE: Nitrous Or Supercharger
it's going to cost over a grand for a nitrous kit, all the safety bells and whistles, and a flip chip if you want to run completely safe. so in the end, it's going to be about the same price, especially if you get a shop to install the nitrous. them $1700 superchargers are usually powerdynes and aren't worth the money.

No need to go to a shop to install the n2o, it's very straightforward.
You can make more power with n2o than you can with the blower cost for cost.
And if you get the nitrous now, you can always still get the supercharger later down the road.
Use a small shot of nitrous to cool the intake charge and be even better off.

+1. Plus 7 PSI from a Supercharger is not even going to give you 100 hp. But a 125 shot of nitrous will. If you only race the car once every two months then you won't go broke with nitrous refills. Plus if it's the 1/8 a centrifugal S/C isn't going to be that good. They make their power up top. Depending on what rear end gearing you have you cross the finsh in like the top of 2nd or bottom of 3rd. Right?
