I have the 93 LX with 380 n/a. I am thinking the procharger P-1sc, but i am not sure. Are vortech or paxton more reliable. My car has forged internals. I want to run 9-10 lbs. of boost without any chance of detonation. Help me pick one.

I would recommend all of your suggestions. They are all awesome superchargers. The real question is money. If you want a low cost set up go with the Vortech A-trim. The Paxton 1000 (in my opinion) doesn't upgrade as easy and uses the factory serpentine belt which sucks. If you are running 9/10lbs you will need timing retard regardless of the supercharger. My personal opinion is if you have the dough buy a Novi 2000. It'll run 8lbs or 30 if you want! Lot's of potential there.
I bought an A-trim from Laurel Mountain Mustang. It only ran like $1695. Places like Summit are selling it for much more. If you look around you can find it for less.
ok its true for about the same price you can get the upgrade s-trim. But if you have a stock engine without forged inners then the a-trim is the way to go becauseit provides a smaller amount of boost. now if you want to spend the money and get fored parts then i would def go with the s-trim...
