Pulley size Vortech S- trim/ Methanol injection
My Vortech supercharger came with a 3.33 pulley which I have switched out for a 2.95. It builds 11lbs with the 2.95.
Has anyone had realibility out of these units running 2.75 or 2.50 pulleys, I am shifting at 6K. Has anybody had
experience with methanol injection, I've been looking at Snow Performance's kit. Thank you. Mark

the meth kit will get you about 50rwhp. but you have to have the car tuned for it. you cant just slap it on and expect gains. youll have to pull fuel from the injectors and add timing.
2.75" and smaller pulleys slip like crazy. if you want more boost run an 8" crank instead of the 6.87" or whatever the standard is. personally i wouldnt go smaller then 3" pulley on the sc just because of slipping. but if you have your heart set on a 2.75" pulley i have one on ebay for sale right now
try a 3" on the sc, a 8" on crank, and a power pipe and youll see minimum of 12psi

8" crank and a power pipe for sure. as far as the sc pulley goes, try a 2.95" and see what you get. crank the belt down to about 100ft/lbs and see what you get. run a good belt (delco polycog) for extra grip. they do make special sc pulleys that are designed for more grip on the belt. what they do is the drill into the front of the pulley at a point that cuts into the teeth.....ill have to see if i can find one for you.
you can run a cog set up. with cogs you car run 40psi with no belt slip but cog setups are hell on sc internals if you drive on the street. if you have the money, you can also try a 10rib set up. 8" crank, 2.75" sc and power pipe youll see 15psi for sure with a 10rib. but its hard to find 10 rib belts and the pulleys will be very expensive.
