BTW. prochargers are POS big time. my brother lost a finger when the procharger on his old car literally blew up when he was tinkering with something non-procharger realated on his car. he was stupid by leaving the car running, but a blower unit shouldn't explode like it did, it nasty.

turbo hands down, first of all they make more sense for a dailey driver and they make much more power. It will take alot of that money but its definatley worth it. If your going for a cheap fix do the KB but if you want the most bang for your buck go Turbo IMO

Go for turbo man... as around... 80% of the ppl that kno a decent amount about blowers will say turbo... the other 20% are bias or they would agree to... why do u think foreign car us turbos instead of s/c's... the tubros get them for power to there small engine.. image what it would do for you 4.6 V8

Didn't you know someone who lost an eye to a ProCharger too? If not, someone else posted something similar with someone losing an eye...

My "POS" runs great but the polished KB sounds good too...

the car is an 02 ss with heads and cam as far as one coming apart that is the first i have heard of one doing it but anything is possible bad things happen all the time nitrous blows up all the time but it is not going anywere
From what, a C6 Z06?

Or is that a stang with a 200 shot of nitrous on top of it?

I don't normally do this but...

I want to see a turbo kit for 6000 on a 4.6, espcially one with a set of twins.

Unless you have plans down the road for a definate shortblock swap a turbo setup is a waste of money.

BTW, you have 6000 bucks laying around you should not be choosing between KB and procharger, you should be choosing between a aftercooled vortech T trim, a intercooled Paxton novi 2000, or a KB 2.2L intercooled.

I'm all about KB....i mean w/ procharger u r goin 2 get the max boost only at high rpms....i was readin bout the KB and it takes .4 of a second at WOT to make full boost! I say go w/ the intercooled 2.1L 9 psi kit and order the 90mm mass air and u should b set at close 2 450 horses!
