Other than the very high price... is there any reason why noone gets these installed? I just never hear about those types on any mustangs much.

I think you hit the nail. For the same price you can get a better supercharger, or a similar supercharger with additional supporting mods (Intercooler, Gauges, Powerpipe, etc.)

Not that the premium price for the Roush kit is worth it, but the Roush kit does comes with a 3-year/36,000 mile warranty. I'm pretty sure the Roush kit is based off of the Eaton M90 and probably comes with absolutely every nut, bolt, hose-clamp, wire-tie you would ever need to install the kit.

I would think their target market is probably someone who:
[ul][*] Has alot of disposable cash[*] Doesn't want to have to mess with anything once it's installed[*] Wants the car to drive like it came that way off the showroom floor[*] Is willing to pay a premium for all of the above.

It is mostly because anyone that has done their homework, and is informed about positive displacement blowers, would opt for a screw over a roots. Bottom line, it is a roots blower, and isn't nearly as thermally efficient as a twin screw. That's a lot of it.

Ah... I was thinkin it was a twin screw, thats why I was wonderin why noone talked about them. No wonder everyone goes for either a Whipple or KB.

I would opt for a centrifugal over a roots blower every time. (But not a screw)
