Which S/C to choose?
Which is the best for a 2003 5 spd GT? A twin screw like an Eaton and Kenne Bell, or a centrifugal like Vortech, Paxton, and ATI ProCharger?
I was thinking about getting a Vortech, but Kenne Bell sounds better becuase they offer increased horsepower across the rpm range as aposed to increased hp as the rpms increase.

RE: Which S/C to choose?
hey mineral grey, how much was your kenne bell?
Im looking for one, But i dont want it to be extremely expensive.
i see these vortech kits on ebay, they are going for 2300. The sellers say they are complete, but, people here say they cant be complete for the price.
Does anyone know?

RE: Which S/C to choose?
Without a dyno I'd say in the neighborhood of 400hp. All my mods are listed in my signature. I have a stock motor with a little magnaflow rumble. When I say stock I mean down to the stock airbox and snorkle and everthing. What can I say? The aftermarket cai I had didn't fit. The KB setup moves the T/B just a little... It's good to know I can add my next HP in the air intake...

With no internal mods, go for a twin screw (eatons are roots), ie, Kenne Bell or Saleen series 4. You'll love the low end tourque. Just ask Mineral.
