I agree with MD. Except I still have yet to see any dynos showing that magnaflow out performs all the others. I met a guy yesterday who had a modded 96 Cobra and he said when he took off his flows and put on his magnaflows he got 12 more rwhp so if you have a cobra they might be worth it but for GT's just go for flowmasters because they sound better IMO.
Yeah right, us SOHC 4.6 guys can't sacrifice HP anywhere....

Its actually common sense. Restricted mufflers create back pressure which equals a decrease in performance. [sm=icon_ladiesman.gif]

guys..lets be real here most of you guys don't have enough engine to worry about what hp the exhaust system will give you..going to a bigger size pipe is more to the point....so sound should be your first thought.. long tubes don't give much hp to stock engine to say a s/c car or nitrous or a 400 hp nat car...so don't get caught up worring about a few hp on an exhaust

its true that we dont have as much as the 4V and thats just the reason to squeeze every little bit out of the 2V that we can get. The more the better.

im with JD i dont have the money for a S/C and dont have the money for any type of internal work so the only place i can get my hp is from my bolt ons. so im gonna get the bolt on that puts out 5 more hp than the other.

Well hey everybody has there different priorities I guess some want more performance some want more sound to each his own. Stangsational as for the best set up for you. You said you wanted to go with flowmasters so I would go with either an O/R H-pipe or Hi-Flow H-pipe whichever you want and then go with LT headers. That will give you a nice deep grumble but will still be loud as **** when you get on it.
