thats awesome. test pipes are usually for imports. glad to see a domestic that can finally bolt/unbolt cats. i might have to go that route myself.

They still look brand new right at the motor where the majority of the heat is, but down where the water gets to it they are a little discolored. Nothing so bad that I need to replace them anytime soon. I think they will be on there for the life of the engine and maybe the new one if I ever need one.

Yeah Steed... why not MAC? and what would you go with?
Thanks JD... unless steed has a good argument here ill probably go with the setup you have, with the addition of cats mind you.... if the sound is right

RE: LT + mid pipe question
I am putting on longtubes this week. I think i am going to do BBK chrome for a little more $$ than MAC. MAC has individual flanges for each cylinder which is more chance for a leak. I also had a nightmare with a pro chamger weld that basicly fell apart, (quality) but I love the pro chamber sound so I am going to cut it off and use it with the BBK longtubes and just weld the collectors to the cut off pipe. Should sound and perform awesome.

MAC's quality control isn't that good...I've read of people like RJM above with MAC problems...go with the BBK Longtubes and their matching X. That is what I just ordered.

RE: LT + mid pipe question
ive been looking at bbk as well. i finally found a mustang/focus ONLY performance shop near me... the owner there said some of his cobra owners have lost power with the bbk setup. what years the cobras are i do not know. on the other hand this guy sells mac and bassani, not bbk....[sm=youreright.gif]
