Default Tweecer

I was recently reading the thread labeled "where to purchase my vortech" but I didn't want to threadjack. On that thread the Tweecer is mentioned and looks like you guys are pretty happy with it.

I recently asked people on the AustinAreaStangs website about the Tweecer and got a very mixed reaction. The consensus on that site is that pre '99 cars the Tweecer is great although anything '99-current models that Tweecer isn't doing so great and is being passed in technology by competitors. They also mention lack of support issues. Since I'm not the one with the facts here is the thread so you can read it if you like. http://www.austinareastangs.com/index2.html In Tech Talk inder the article labeled "Who's running a Tweecer? Do you like it?"

Looks like there are a couple of people with a lot of experience with it that posted, not just opinions of people that have never run it.

On the other side the value was documented as "The real demand for TwEECer occurs when you make fuel system changes such as larger injectors, add forced induction or an aggressive cam. This is where drivability problems surface that hender performance.

In your case intending to add nitrous, TwEECer offers a very desirable feature which is the choice of up to four custom tunes switchable on the fly. You can have an everyday tune and a nitrous tune that can be selected by a switch. "

Now that I've brought you up to date with what I've already read please tell me what you guys think of Tweecer on

Default RE: Tweecer

well, their is better stuff than a tweecer. but tweecer is best for the money. you could always get a pms (programable management system) which does everything the tweecer does, but is more user friendly and has a hand held programmer, so a laptop isnt necesarry. it also goes into stand alone at 3500rpm
