exhaust question

Can anyone tell me what exhaust system would sound best on a 98 Cobra. I used to have a 98 GT with Bassani X pipe w/ 2 cats and liked the sound, but would it sound the same on a Cobra? Would an H pipe be a better fit? I would like it to be loud, but not out of control loud.
