Default Dual tuning on the cheap

Does anyone know a way to dual tune for nitrous, with out the expense of a PMS? The diablo predator and other manufacturers of the programmable chips are not really clear on the capabilities of their products.

Why don't you talk to the guys at Zex and see what they recommend since you have their system. I'm sure they could supply some ideas and real world examples to you on set-ups they have on other cars.

You already have all the tools you need, you have a timing adjuster and I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and say you have colder plugs...so what's the problem?

The guys at Zex don't respond. So much for customer service. I ended up dropping the n20 jets to the 100, put the timing at the stock 10 deg. Works great, no knocks.

You should be running 8-10 degrees advanced (at idle)when spraying 100 shot and 10-14 when not for best performance, you have the timing adjuster so just change that its fast and easy, experiment for the 2 best settings and you are good to go.

The BEST thing to do is get a flip chip, 1 tune for nitrous and 1 tune for without and just flip the switch before you juice it. Much easier then going through the whole timing issue. Either that or just leave it at 10* all the time and keep premium fuel in for the nitrous.

I would just adjust the timing and run premium, it's not worth forgetting once and blowing her up.
