i just heard 03 cobras have tuned exhaust so would it not be smart to even upgrade, i will modding the car so i'll have to get a bigger exhaust or would it be best to leave it?

Thanks a lot... takes one to know one HOMO! LOL

03 Cobras come with 2.5 SS exhaust and can easily be upgraded to 3" with no problems since its S/C'd

yea the Flows are deeper and louder at idle than the magnaflows

ah i see, so what would be the best exhaust kit to add to a 03 cobra in your guys oppinions for sound mainly but still has good performance. i also heard that doug thorleys are really good.

If you are looking for a really deep tone and a good sounding nonbaffled muffler then get some magnapacks. Plain and simple.

see that's the thing. I dont necessarily care about the minimal differences in hp gain. I'm looking for something with a good sound. I don't have to be heard for blocks and blocks, though. But I do want a deep tone at low rpms and idle where if I pull up to someone it WILL turn their heads and at the same time I can cruise with my 3 year old son in the Stang and he won't bust out crying when I start the car. Out of the ones I listed in the initial post....which one is most suitable for my purpose when mated with an H pipe with hi flow cats.

I was in the same position as you, I wanted loud and noticable but not obnoxious... so I ditched my too quiet magnaflows for the long time mustang staple... Flowmaster
