hey I was just wondering if I bought a stock eaton supercharger from a 2003 cobra and put it on my 2001 cobra would it fit right on or does it get more confusing?

It gets more confusing. If you buy a stock Eaton you need to get the intercooler with it. Alot of guys sell their Eatons to put on Ken bell or whipple and they can use the stock intercooler. So the blower alone still needs the intercooler to mount to your Cobra 4.6. Better off just buying the whole aftermarket supercharger,(twin screw is best)

Why does he HAVE to buy the intercooler with it? I never heard that you HAVE to get the intercooler and the new Cobras dont have intercoolers on them.

I think it'd be more trouble trying to mount eaton on your '01 than to by another SC to bolt on. I thought the new Cobra's had the under-the-blower-mounted intercoolers.

Exactly, if you buy say a whipple or Ken bell the stock intercooler is there and will work, the thread was about a used Eaton, I think, and if purchased could only be 1/2 what you need, am I right?

I gotcha now. I read in the new 5.0 that KB sells a blower for the 99-01 that pumps out 400-420rwhp at 5#'s w/o an intercooler.

Screw the Eaton - get the Kenne Bell.

i don't know if it'll help, but pick up the oct's MM&FF mag. there's a big article a supercharged 03 cobra motor. if i remember right your eaton is mentioned but i think they scrapped it and went with a ken bell
