If I have to buy the CB, I'm just going to do a custom side-exhaust w/ the packs.... That would be awesome.

Naw, I'm not gonna shoot you. They aren't going to suggest you cut or weld anything, they wanted you to buy the whole catback again. Take a look at both a complete Magnaflow picture and Magnapack picture. You can see that the piping after the muffler is 100% identical, no different bends at all. In fact, the right Pack will be ever so slightly angled, apparantly Magnaflow didn't want to spend an extra 10 minutes per catback performing a tiny bend in a really stupid place to even waste their time doing it to make the Packs go perfectly inline with the piping.Acer, any decent muffler shop can pretty much do whatever you request, especially since the piping you'll need from the muffler to your mid-pipe is so tiny, it won't require much of a bend at all. A custom side-pipe exhaust would probably cost more than a whole new cat-back heh.
