I dont know much about exhaust systems at all I actually just learned what a muffler was.

I have a 94 mustang gt 5.0 ho stock. I know a guy who is runnung 3 inch in and out from stock headers to a bassani X pipe to flow master 1 chambers. His car sounds the best out of all the mustangsI have ever heard. He has a 96 SVT mustang thoiugh with a 4.6. What is the cheapest way I can get mine to sound the same?

Can I run the flow masters on my stock pipe or does the bassani make a big noise difference? If I go 3 inch in and out will any of this hurt my motor? The guy reccomends I go 2/34 in and 3 inch out. Im also looking for a place to buy the hard ware cheap.

I am looking for the widest diameter exhaust tips I can logically fit. Where should I look for these? I want them to be the same diameter the visible part that sticks out the back.

Will any of this effect my motor life? My car has 105,000 miles on it. Thanks for any help in advance.

i have 2.5 in and out on both my mufflers, there series 10 with a basani x pipe. yours will prolly sound a lil bit louder than his. you can usually just get the mufflers+ the labor for around 250
