Redline - I wasnt gouging at you or anything, after I read where you quoted me it kina sounded a little hostile. Sorry about that [&:]. So your buddies car overheats and stuff with the procharger? How long has he had it on there? I need to hear about this stuff before I order the damn thing! For the most part Ive heard and seen a ton of good things about Prochargers. However I do love the KB's. For low boost applications on the street a KB would own a Procharger.

t's because thats all my car will run on californias crappy pump gas. we have 91 at the pump. to get it to 8 or 9 i would need water and methanol injection. which is an option for going to the track i guess.
You could run 8 psi on 91 gas, no problem, as long as your tune is on. -No sweat. Listen, if $ is no object, get the KB. Trust me, you'll be happy you did. I guarantee you if you drove your car for a month with a Procharger, then a month with the kenne Bell, you'd stay with the KB. It's addicting when you have torque that doesn't rely on engine rpm's, I'm tellin' ya from personal experience; I went from a procharged 01 Saleen to a E model saleen(twin screw blower). The difference is huge. When the E car's boost was stock, (10-12 psi depending on the weather) it dynoed almost exactly 400 rwhp. The procharged Saleen tuned to the hilt, making 10 psi, layed down 430 rwhp on the dyno. -Also, the E car had 3.08 gears, while the procharged saleen had 3.55's. The E car was still faster, and pulled on the procharged car. Why? It was in it's hp band longer. -That's why twin screw is the way to go. (And that low end power is addicting, gosh it's nice to have 300 flbs of torque at 2000 rpm.)

well its not a money thing, actually the kb would be 100 cheaper than the procharger for the blowzilla. its just getting tossed back and fourth between which one i want.

It doesn't flow as good as other aftermarket intakes...
Don't see why they based it off of this damn thing
Going to see if a machine shop can fab something so i can use my Edelbrock Performer RPM Lower manifold when I get one...

I think if you have a twin screw pushing that boost through the lower, I honestly dont think that RPM lower will make much of a difference .
