I seriously doubt adverse cylinder wear one 1 side will be an issue for a single turbo. Cylinders are damaged from heat and detonation. A little backpressure isnt gonna mess anything up.
how do people hook turbochargers to V-8's or 6s? which side of the exhaust is moving the turbine? im so confused.please explain.
Lol, all 8 or 6 of the exhaust pipes are routed to one turbo I have some pictures of some setups if you would like. Saab tried a setup on a v8 with only one bank on the turbo & came up with horrible results. As far as where the turbo resides, this depends on their header setup. I've seen v8s with it mounted in front of the engine, where the battery is, in the fender, sticking out of the hood, I've even saw one setup with the turbo in the trunk suprisingly it ran a high 5 at the local track (1/8th)
