Default New to Nitrous.. suggestions please!

I have a 98 GT, mods listed. I just got a 80 hp Edelbrock system for it. I was wondering what else i should buy when running this system. Anything that doesnt come with this kit, that i need to run at the track?? This is my first car with Nitrous, so im gonna make sure i have everything. I am getting a flip switch from my local dyno shop, im trading my superchip for a flip switch chip. So i will have everything corrected. ANY SUGGESTIONS welcome!!!!

a bottle heater and pressure gauge is a MUST for running well on the bottle, a wot switch and rpm switch are helpful as well to prevent any nitrous backfires (if your using a wet kit - Im assuming dry though with your 98).

Not sure about everything on your 5.0-.4, but you need to run atleast a 1 stage colder plug. Atleast a 190lph fuel pump. Congrats on the new system.

Run a new fuel pump on a 75 shot? I shouldnt even need to run a different plug shoud I ? I know i shouldnt run platniums, only because they will burn up easily.

I'd go one step colder on the plug as a precaution, and run premium gas on stock timing. And I wouldn't worry with a fuel pump for an 80 horse kit either.

Better safe than sorry in my book. If you want to take even the slightest chance of running lean because your fuel system can't supply the amount of fuel needed, that is entirely up to you. Same thing with the plugs. IF you want them to last any time at all, I would take it down one range.

I am just giving precautionary advice, so you can take it as you will. But I will say that I have seen a piston end up with a hole in it from running an 80 shot with a lean condition.

I'm not exactly sure what the 4.6s take. I would get something that is equivalent to the Autolite 24s for the 5.0s.

Yeah man, just get 1 step colder plugs
your current pump SHOULD be ok
other than timing retard and crap, just make sure the A/F is dead on and your golden
plus you got that flip chip (or will get it for free) so no worries there either.
