Default Stock replacements before turb

Hey all.
I was entertaining the idea of having turbo(s) installed on my '99 gt. It's all stock except for bassani 3.5" cat back, a K&N filter, and a chip. I want to run a respectable amount of boost, but don't want to break anything cuz i over-worked the stock components. Anyone have a list or ideas of what should be replaced before running the turbo? Anything helps.

Rods and pistons. Forged if you wanna run double digit boost, or single digits without a care.

REMEMBER TO TUNE THE MOTOR CORRECTLY. Rich is better than lean.....I'd rather be rich and not make as much power than lean and detonate and gernade it.
