i bought a 1993 mustang convertible lx yesterday with a powerdyne supercharger.. the car had been in storage for awhile, it has 47,000 miles on it.. the guy i bought it from is not the guy who put the supercharger on.. so he does not know much... anyway the first drive i thought it was building boost when you would go.. the car was like 250 miles from my town when i bought it, so anyway when i got close to home i noticed that the boost gauge says -4.5 and when i go down a freeway ramp and get on it it goes from -4.5 to -0.2 .. any idea what it would be ? Thanks for any pointers ..
i am new here so Hi... i work as a tech at a yamaha dealership and have installed superchargers and turbos on yamaha nitros..they are alittle differant but i kind of know how it works.. i kind of wonder if like a bypass valve is stuck open or something.. the car is super nice , i just need to learn more about it.. i can take photos today if needed... Thanks corey

well i got it figured out.... after i went thru everything.. i took the belt off , when i bought the car the guy told me he had a new belt for the supercharger.. well it is the other belt not the one i needed... the supercharger belt was weathered and cracked. you could not tell when it was on.. so off to the parts store.. 18.01 for a new belt.. put it on and go for a test drive... hit the gas and hold it to the floor cruising in drive at about 30... shifts down and starts spinning the tires..hits second and spins some more... look at the gauge and it says 5.00 lbs woohoo... happy now
