Default Pro Charger

Anybody with some feedback about ProCharger. I'm looking for a supercharger and ProCharger seems to have the complete kit including the intercooler for the best price. Would 8 psi get me a good power gain without sacrificing durability and reliability.

Procharger has recently become the best brand of centrifugal supercharger on the market, at least that is my opinion. They come air to air intercooled stock, so you can run the 8psi of boost safely and reliably. All the supercharger requires is that you pump the right amount of octane fuel, as well as change the self-contained oil every couple thousand miles, and thats about all. Go to their website and request a catalog - they send you like 15 pages of information on your application and more.

I agree. If I had to pick a centrufugal blower, I'd go Procharger. Of course, you could always go twin screw. (get a Kenne Bell, you'll be much happier)

Self contained may be worse than tapped oil pan in some cases, but the Procharger is still the best centrifugal, mainly because of its air to air intercooler.

And yes, notice i said best centrifugal supercharger on the market. Like Birdieman says - Kenne Bell Twin Screw is the best.

only reason procharger is considered the best is because they sell a cheap intercooler with their kit. vortech w/ an intercooler > procharger w/ an intercooler IMO if your comparing the P1SC to the vortech S ... the D1SC is nice so is the F1 ... if you want the best for the $$ though get a Novi2000 - and if you got too much money then get a KB or send the money to me

I thought that Prochargers with air to air intercoolers were better than Vortechs Aftercooler simply because the Aftercooler was air to water, which was not as efficient as the air to air... Could you please explain why the Vortech kit is better?

Does the KB requires any regular service after install?
