I currently have an 09 mustang gt and looked into this and am thinking about it. If I were to do it, what kind of whp and tq numbers do you think that we would be looking at? Also, is there something similar to this with a turbo kit?

what does a 99-04 mustang GT's fuel pump max out at? 350rwhp??
A diablosport tuner will work for tuning the car correct? or do you need the diablo chip?
If you were to get 39lb injectors from an 03/04 cobra, what power are those good up to? 400ish correct?
How do you know if you need a 90mm MAF or anything like that?
sorry i threw a lot at ya...

Hey, Just wanted to let you know how thankful i am for this sort of thread! I signed up for this forum directly because of this thread!
my main question would be if there is any similar sites or write ups for a roots style s/c???? something similar to what you did with the centri!
thanks alot! there really isnt anything like this for a roots kit. those setups are built all together with a corresponding lower intake manifold. The meat of the kit is the blower itself, which usually isnt cheap. These vortech kits are easier to piece together. I just based this on lowest cost possible. Its really for people who are just looking to get into some boost on a budget

Im not sure exactly where it maxes out at. I never tried using it, but id assume 350whp is a pretty good estimate. I think its more something like 330-340whp. I like SCT stuff alot better, but the diablosport will work too. You can use either a handheld tuner or a chip. The 39lb injectors are good to at least 450whp. The maf really just depends on what the tuner says. Most would rather tune with the lightning meter. Its easier to work with the 42 and 39lb injectors and it will be less restrictive since its bigger. Some of the stock GT meters have a built in IAT sensor. The kit is meant for use with an external IAT sensor. So switching to a lightning meter would be necessary in that case if you want accurate air intake temps. This allows the tuner to make sure the timing is correct so you dont get any detonation. This is especially important when using a non intercooled blower like alot of people are using. The difference between ambient temps and intake temps after the blower can be 110 degrees or more

On just an 8psi non intercooled kit I think youd be around 400whp. The limit on those engines is about 450-475whp supercharged . A turbo kit will cost alot of money. You could build three of these kits for the cost of a decent turbo kit
hey, i'm gathering a few parts for this setup on my 99 gt, i'm hoping to get a paxton supercharger from my cousin for cheap, otherwise i'll go with the vortech, is 150 bucks for 8 42lb new ford racing injectors a decent price?

and do i even need to get an svt fuel pump if im going to be pushing up 400rwhp? Do i even need an MAF for that matter? (being as how i am prob going to be at 8psi ~370rwhp if i were to ever go through with this)
and one more question that's got me confused... i found somebody selling a used V2-sq, and he states that is has an 8-rib pulley on it right now (he isnt sure of the size)....anyway, i heard that if one pulley is 8 rib, you have to convert ALL pullies to 8 rib... the ones in the links you posted come with 6 rib.. what is my option here and how much wil this 8rib/6 rib thing cost me?
