i have a vortech v2-sq trim kit ima about to pull off my car; selling everything and putting the car back to stock. I used this very thread to put it together. Full vortech mounting kit, 8 rib kit, powerpipe, single bolt tensioner, all the good stuff. Even have longtubes for sale.

Made 433 rwhp on BONE STOCK longblock not even long tubes. LMK if anyone is interested

Hey Frost sorry for all the questions, but i've had a hard time finding people who are sure on the discharge and rotation. Is there a way I can know from looking at it or an easy way to determine. Because everyone Ive emailed about it on ebay have no idea, and frankly I don't want to take that chance on something that pricey

Oh sorry the kit was sold 2-3 years ago. It was a nice kit though!

For a 4.6 car you need a CCW (counterclockwise) unit with a straight discharge. The straight discharge is easy to spot, but to tell which direction it turns you can tell by the direction of the impeller blades. But most counterclockwise units are installed with the impeller facing the front of the car. The blower is mounted in front of the belt drive assembly. If the unit was installed on a 96-04 car, itll fit on yours.

The units you do not want are the clockwise rotation units with curved discharge. They are mounted behind the belt drive assembly an have the impeller facing the rear of the car.

can anybody get me a clear picture on how their a/c line looks after moving it to clear... my car is a 96, not sure if all 96-04 have to be bent the same.

Im starting this kit myself , one question that I have (sorry if this has been addressed previously in the thread) is that If plan to I/C the vortech would I still need this http://www.superchargersonline.com/p...er=V4FH112-010 ?? I will be using a paxton Air to Air intercooler, Anyone with any experience with that certain I/C ? how was the Install ? I know it needs to be re-clocked and all but is there any other specifics I should look at ?

V1 s trim - $800
42lb injectors - $125
SVT focus fuel pump - $65
90mm MAF flow matched for 42lb injectors - $90(x2) the first one I paid for the seller died before he shipped out the MAF and paypal would not give me my money back because they could not contact him.

Brackets/hoses etc. new - $774
Diablo sport tuner - 200
Tune - est. $400

Total - $2454
