Yea you definitely need an upgraded Maf. I'm not sure about the 87MM I've never heard of anyone using one before. From my understanding the 90MM is the standard for this. I am also in the process of puting this together and I cannot wait. If all goes well I hope to install this summer. If the links are down (which the ones for 99-04gt are) the part number in the url is still the same. Search Vortec's website for the part number and it will show up for each one. Best of luck man!

All links have now been updated. I also added several things. Too bad they stopped carrying all the V6 stuff. If you call, they may still be able to get it for you though. Sorry I hadnt updated the thread earlier. Im glad that its still becoming useful.

ok awsome thread im working on getting me a v1 unit as im typing lol, my question is since i have a sct tuner could I just get a custom tune from bama that includes the 90mm maf and 38-40lb injectors (whichever i get) so i can atleast install them at home and drive it to the dyno shop? like u know how they send u tunes.... just tell them what i have and all... also do u know what gains im expecting with a pi head swapped motor?
