Default Chip for a little more power

Hey everybody...I have a 17 mustang gt with a manual transmission...I want to put a chip in it for just a little more hp to really let me have fun with it....where can I buy one from...any websites or auto shops in the bay area that I could get one from?

Save your money and engine. If you find a chip all it will be is a cheap resistor designed to trick the computer.

If you want more power get a tuner and tune. SCT is the most common one used by tuners. You can get them lots of places, American Muscle for example.

Yep, don't waste your money or worse, your engine with a chip. That and you'll fail emissions in CA with them as they fool the computer into dumping more fuel into the combustion chamber which will increase your emissions beyond what is considered passable in CA. That and your MPG will drop like a rock for it.
