$1500 96-04GT Supercharger kit "how its done"
#371
I definitely believe it, I did some checking around as I'm piecing this together myself and It can be done. I am curious though, I've been looking at a V3 si trim as I don't want to have to tap the oil pan and this also has more up to date gearing which won't be as noisy. Will all the parts still match up to it? (Brackets, hoses, so on)?

Hate to bump this but: the bracket assembly listed on the first page for a 2001 Cobra isn't listen on superchargersonline anymore... Does this: http://www.summitracing.com/int/part...view/make/ford work as a replacement? Thanks.

I did the 1500 Superdharge build. I ended up spending 2100 bucks tho ( few additional add on's). Look on corral.net. They have the biggest classified mustang section on the net. I have a few parts still laying around (55 lb injectors, 3.60 pulley) that I'll let go real cheap. We 2V guys gotta keep up with the competion. If you need any help let me know.....

Will the SVT pump work on a GT?
Will the SVT fuel pump work on a 2004 Mustang GT or is it for the Cobra?

Didn't quite reach the $1500.00 Supercharger build but I think I did pretty good. Could have even been cheaper if I hadn't bought the Power Pipe, Tial Bov and went with smaller injectors. Any questions guys let me know..

Do you have the stock motor (bottom end-rods pistons etc.,)?
If so the 3.60 will do you fine. Vortechs have different pulleys sizes (3.60, 3.48, 3.33, 3.125, 2.87). If you still have the stock bottom end then I would suggest going with the 3.60 pulley or maybe even a 3.48. Anything smaller and you'll be running to much boost which would cost your motor to make to much HP which in turn can and will blow your engine. With a 3.60 pulley should be right at 380 or so to the wheels. A 3.48 pulley close to or a little over 400 anything smaller than that you're running a risk of blowing your engine.
You can run 42 lb injectors but you'll be like me and want to make more HP and will have to sell those and buy some more. I'll cut you a deal on the injectors (55 lb) and pulley. Let me know...
Also I am here to help you as much as I can. What all parts do you have so far?
