Default 2014 GT cant decide between single turbo or supercharger

I have read as much as I could find but cant make my decision. Figured the best place to get information was from people who might have experience or expertise with both system. I was going to get the Department of Boost setup with the M122 supercharger, but the Hellion single turbo kit seems like it'll get me exactly where I want to be as well. I plan on running it on 93 gas, I never plan on having more than 600HP from it, and I doubt I'll get that out of it. It's not going to be at a track every weekend, and it probably wont be doing much from a dig anyway. It might see a road course occasionally. If it's going to see anything it'll probably be a little spirited driving here and there. If I get the turbo I'll probably go the ported 2018 manifold route as well (provided the one I'm interested in is still available when I make my mind up.) If I go supercharger route I'll probably get some long tube headers. I'm not planning on doing a cat delete, high flow cats if anything. No plans to mess with the cams or the internals. Overall Im just going for a moderate upgrade. Will one be preferable to the other for what I want? Does it even matter since Im not going for any kind of records or limit pushing HP? Is the Hellion kit even recommended for turbocharging? Thanks in advance for anyone that can give me some insight.

Cyote5, I like the way you are thinking this out. My street car is a 2014 Cyote. For your application, you are correct with your approach on modifications. I personally favor the supercharger, on the street, (roush 2300 stage two chip).
I am convinced the supercharger was made for the Cyote. Another plus is the supercharger is less complicated with installation and maintenance. I would also strongly recommend a "water/methane" kit be installed. This system not only ads horse power, but gives the supercharger a little cooler environment from which to survive in. For you turbo lovers, I favor the Turbo charger for full competition vehicles. We are now running a 86mm turbo on our 1988 mustang fastback, 362 cid, 1020 hp on the dyno. That turbo, at 18 lbs of boost is out of control.

Thanks for the insight. I was always leaning a bit towards SC, but since I've never run forced induction before I wanted to cover all my bases. Would methane injection still be recommended with the relatively moderate setup in going for? I don't plan on pushing more than 10 lbs of boost or so.

Cyote5, I would definitely recommend the Water/Injection system for any aspirated engine. 10 Pounds of boost is very respectable.I run 9 pounds of boost on the street and bump it to 12 at the track.
