Default Modifications for 04 Mach

I plan on getting a 04 Mach 1 and was wondering if anybody knows of any good performance modifications for it.

why don't you get the car first, then worry about making it fast. theyre pretty quick stock...i dont think youd need to [mod it]unless you're a performance junkie in which casegetting a gt and mod it to all hell would make much more sense unless you just want the dohc.</P><edited><editID>Jugador</editID><editDate>37878.056412037</editDate></edited>

oh, getting a 99 or 01 cobra would make more sense then cause they can be acquired cheaper than a mach 1. so basically im saying this: get a mach1 if u want a collector car that can generally hold its own on the street. otherwise, theres better ways to get results. gt and mod it for the cheapest solution, slightly used new model cobra if you want dohc and a 6 speed.</P>

Or just get an older car because you dont have to smog it, so there for no limits to how much power you wanted really

Sorry if I came off a bit arrogant or hasty there, didn't mean too.

sorry if i did too...i realized that theres other ways then mine to do s**t. sorry. good mods: Gears (3.73 is my reccomendation), Exhaust (Bassani if you want all out performance, sound, and dont care about price, magnaflow if cost is somewhat of an issue), Shifter for those nice clean crisp throws (Steeda is rumored to do good work, the tri-ax[e?] an example that ive heard), and an easy but not too good IMO mod is a CAI with high flow filter and i cant point you to a good one, but ive seen an ad for one on here if you look around in the vendor for sale section.

Well guys, I think I've decided that I'm going too get a GT Coupe and put some cash into it instead of getting the Mach 1. So where should I start on the GT?

haha i knew you'd come around. those mods i listed in the message above yours is universal for anyone who wants a good start. but there are far more things than what i listed that are easy as hell that if you look around you can find. and also, do some research on exhausts...they're out there, just look. dont always accept what you're told is best</P>
