ya i post from time to time in the 5.0 general discussion section. best pass is in my sig. its 1/8 mile but the math says itll run 10.85 in the quarter. best part is, the tires im running on are bald et streets and only 7.5psi i havent had the time or money to get on the dyno. i have a pms and a wide band so i know afr and timing is good/safe. i dont see any reason why it cant go mid to high 9s with more boost and some slicks. i plan to run 15-20psi of boost. plan to just add boost on the dyno untill the injectors hit 90% duty cycle or the turbos run out of breath

there is no reason you shouldnt be in the 9s with that car esp with slicks and boost
i had #2 cyl intake pushrod bent and i went out with 14#s and pushed into the 9s off two step at about 3800rpm building 8#s off line in the heavy *** convertible weighed 3300# without me in it
ive decided to quit spending cash on the vert and ive got a 93 coupe ive started the mini tub project on, putting in all wolfe racecraft parts, 10pt cage with thru firewall bars all the way to front frame rail, then mini tub kit, double anti rollbar, rear coil shock mounts, window net, sheetmetal rear bulkhead, going to build my own fuel cell and parachute mount
im still rolling with a tweecer on mine with the 60# injectors through a powerglide it made 610/590 at 14# at 15# made 642/611 but was lean,, when i had my TKO600 in it it made 617/599 with 11#s the glide eats up power but it comes in so fast and helluva lot better on track for sure
ive got 160s at the house and waiting on a good deal for another accel DFI then will up the boost till i find the top of the turbo, prob around 20-22#s
my friends have a coupe with a 331 keith craft engine PTK 76mm at 18-22#s running anywhere from 9.21-9.30s consistently with a worn out convertor, sent back to PTC and theyve got it back in line for them, should see 8.80s this year outta it
im looking for my coupe with my vert combo in it to run 9.30-9.50s the way it sits should be around 2700#s

well with the TKO in it i could only manage 11.01 @ 131 damn thing always lost its rearward force after launch pushing into 2nd almost looked like it was bouncing forward a lil when i shifted
anyway the vert has stock suspension under it has stange 10ways all around upr coil over up front, stock vert springs, mm lowers and wrc uppers thats it,
was a badass street car with the 5 speed now its still pretty fun on the street with the glide b/c power is right there ready for your foot
im still going to keep this thing a street car, can anyone say 8sec street car later this year??? haha
well ill keep checkin in see how your project is going, im going to do another write up on my new project when i get more into it, right now just got all sound deadener out and rear trunk spare tire well cut out to frame rails ready for rear install and tubs
