hey now! i justhad SLP Loudmouth axle back exhaust installedon my 06 GT. i let an exhaust shop install it for me for 30 bucks. my question is this: Does positioning make much difference in sound? What I mean by that, is that they are sticking out the back about an inch. i told the guys i didn't like them sticking out that much, but they were going to charge me extra labor to go back and work on it so i said the hell with it. Maybe that's just the way they fit, I dunno. I just think it looks a little tacky. I'm just picky I guess. They sound pretty good though.I'm pretty impressed. But I think they are over priced and I paid too much. I'm kicking myself now, I should of spent the extra money and went with the Borla catback exhaust my friend was requesting. Oh well, please reply if you can offer me any advice or have an opinion.

Im pretty sure thats just how they fit. My flowmaster is the same way... I think they do it so the exhaust exits past your bumper...

you can move them back yourself. You just have to loosen the clamp that it holding them and slide them back, then tighten them back up. Shouldn't make any difference in sound.
