Default 331 VS. 347 which is better?

OK, so I get the Edelbrock Performer RPM total power package installed and drove my car for less than 5 miles. I was having all kinds of fun enjoying the 6000 RPM rev limiter on the MSD 6AL. When I reached my destination (less than 5 miles) the oil light came on and stayed on and the rocker arms began to clatter (due to loss of oil pressure). Well, to get to the point, the oil pump ate itself alive.Even after installing a new high volume pump and flushing the engine out the oil pressure still kinda sucks and the lifters are full of metal shavings I assume b/c they wont pump up and adjust right. So, the bearings are getting worse and worse and it runs like crap now. Im planning on pulling it out to have it hot tanked and cleaned out, but I cant decide whether to just replace all the bearings (I found the crank to be just fine when I pulled the main caps off while changing the pump) and leave it a 302, or to go ahead and buy a stroker kit. Im definatly leaning towards the stroker kit, but which do y'all like better, the 331 kit or the 347 kit? I have heard the 331 has a better rod ratio and will wind up a lot faster than the 347. Let me know your opinions. Thanks!

your 100% right on rod ratio for the 331, thats one of the reasons i chose it, your only good to 450-500 horse on a stock block so either way you go you cant do too much to it or youll be hitting your boundries, as for your crank id have a machine shop measure it unless you did, just to make sure that the journals dont need machined (if you stay with the 302)
