I am considering putting 100 shot of nitrous in my car. What are the pros and more importantly cons of nitrous?

- lots of fun
- you will keep wanting more

cons
- refilling the nitrous bottle

pros: cheap, easy install, makes your car faster than boost and gobs of torque(equal shot to boost rating)

cons: bad idea on stock 4.6 engines, the intake and pistons dont like it. Also its easy for something to go wrong and boom. Its not even really that cheap once you count the $40 a bottle for a few good runs. And almost nobody will buy your car if they find out n20 has been on it.

how's it a bad idea on stock 4.6 motors? there's stangs around my area and on this forum that have been spraying for tens of thousands of miles.

when i get mine and some says it's cheating, i will just say ok we will run n/a.

AND you, Mr. SRT-4 cannot rev up to redline to build boost. We are running a completely NA race hahahahhaa

refills for meare about $6/lb so under $60. with a 100 shot that will last you about 10 1/4 mile runs. it would be nice to have the power all of the time with a blower, but i can shut off my nitrous and drive home from the track and get 21mpg.
