My oil lines aren't leaky lol. Even if it did leak, it'll take like 30 dollars at the most to get a peice of REALLY nice hose to replace that. You shouldn't base you decision about blowersfrom a neglecting owner.

Centri will prob give u better HP numbers but i luv the noise of the KB

onefasteclipse is right. Look at the # of people running a vortech & look at the # of people running a kb. Of course there are going to be more problems with the vortech, thereare WAY more of their kits than kb kits. & consider that bad news travels, good news doesn't. One bad thing happens & it spreads like a wildfire. There just simply aren't enough kb's to have alot of problems spread.

It is 100% install error, not the type of supercharger.

the KB gives the most HP over all levels except peak. the centri gives more peak power.


and yeah, everybody makes their own vortech kits and sells their own. you can only buy a KB from KB themselves.

my vortech doesn't leak either. I would go cenrti blower. I think down the road you'll be better off especially if you want to build a high hp car,both are capable but I think the centri blower is a better choice

The other key ingredient here is mileage. The 2003 GT is holding steady at 24-26 MPG. There was a reason that GM, Ford, Jaguar etc all went roots or hybrid roots was for the mileage. A roots style just moves air. a twin screw has 3 cycles. In, compress, and out. That compressor can never be turned "off" so it just burns more fuel.

How is a centri faster hp hp. Lets say a KB has 440rwhp and vortech car has 440rwhp. Vortech is faster? Wait up minute, the vortech will probably hit 440hp at about 5800 rpm will the KB will already be there at 4000 all through redline. Dont forget torque! The KB will far out produce the vortech in torque all across the band! It will make peak torque at about 3k. We should talk about usable/linear power. Not just peak power which a centri which you will only hit when your at like 5800rpm.
