Magnapacks sound to smooth and sexy for me.
Im gonna just bite it and go with the LM2.
I have emissions where i live, if i go o/r X- that will set off a Check engine light, right? What about a catted X or H?

I have a catted x-pipe by pypes, with their 2 high flow cats, and magnapack exhaust. The highflow cats defginityl give u a good HP boost, and i would suggest definitly doing them if ur gonna do nething at all to ur exhaust. the Magnapack is a great exhaust, it has good tone, not muffled sounding or nething. The best thing about em is at idle, or just cruising, the car is noticable, but not obnoxiously loud, so u can get away without geting a ticket for noise polution. But when u nail it, the car really opens up, and it is loud. My friends can hear me coming from down the road and around the corner. Its quite impressive actually, and they sound great. I dont really know how to compare them to SLP, i dont know neone with em, just a lotta flowmasters. But ya, if u havent already ordered, id also check out the magnapack. Theyre pretty much the same as the SLP, just resonators, no muffler. There was a vid of them on here like 4 years ago of someone's car with em, and it sounded amazing, i doubt its still around though. Most of the vids dont do the sound justice...

I love hearing "high flow" cats. There is absolutely nothing high flow about any catalytic converter unless its gutted. The advantage of a catted x or h to a stock one is the fact that there are two less thus decreasing some of the backpressure. If you have ever seen the inside of a catalytic converter, you know what I am talking about.
You will see a decent gain just by getting rid of two cats though, and it will be quite a bit louder.

yes, i've seen the inside of a cat- and it looks very restrictive, but i've always been told that cats today are pretty free flowing. Also, i always thought some back pressure was a good thing, without the cats, what will provide the back pressure? mufflers?
