BOUGHT new NOS system, questions please
I went over to the local speed shop and picked up a N20 system from NOS for my 04 GT. It is the NOS Sniper (orange bottle) wet system, p/n 07005NOS... Now I get home and the manual says its for 4 & 6 cylinders ... Rep said that NOS doesn't make a specific kit for the 4.6, so to get a universal kit.
Will this work? Did I buy the right kit? I paid $375 for it.
Here is the link for it (4 & 6 cyl) http://www.holley.com/07005NOS.asp
And here is the they list for the 8 cyl http://www.holley.com/07005NOS.asp
The only difference I see is that the one I bought only goes up to 75 hp....
Also what's the difference between these kits with the orange bottle and the normal blue bottle kits?
Any input would be appreciated. I am hesitantly happy, but want to make sure I have the right kit...
thanks

RE: BOUGHT new NOS system, questions please
i see the sniper as #7006 ... not 7005
the 7006 is the same jetting as the #5131 powerfogger, and goes from 75-150
i think you might the equivalent to the small fogger kit, 35-75
no big deal really.... it'll work, probably smaller selonoids only.

Thanks for the response. I ended up calling NOS tech line and they said the same thing you said, "same system, just smaller jets"... , which is what I want for now, 75 shot is fine
I am going to have to go back to the archives, I remember reading some of your posts favoring dry or wet, I can't remember, though. I might have to tap into your N20 knowledge as I move forward on my install .
One more question... Since I need to tap into my fuel for this wet system, where would I tap into ? Am I going to have to do some drilling / tapping on a fuel rail or something or is there another way?
Thanks

If Im thinking correctly the only diff is the jet chart in your manual is for a v6. Nitrous jet should be the same but in a v8 you probably need a larger fuel jet, thats how it was with my zex kit for my v6 camaro.

when i put nitrous on my 04 civic i just cut the ruber fule line closest to the fule rail leaving room for the brass t and put the brass t that came with the kit in and used hose clamps on the rubber line and the n20 line justscrewed right in the t that was a nos efi kit should be the same but that was on a 04 civic not mustang
