Just installed an offroad x-pipe and I already had a cat back flowmaster system. It sounds like my mufflers are full of marbles and they are rattling off the case. And it is LOUD as hell. Anyone else have this set up??? I could of swore something was loose. Anyone have any other suggestions on mufflers? I just dont think the flowmasters are good with the x-pipe. It almost sounds like open headers.

i got pulled over for my exhaust and its not all that loud. i think it depends on if the cop you pass and 100 is a jerk or not... just kiddin i was going 45 and he was an @ss

Say bye bye to that X pipe because thats how it's gonna sound when you use chambered mufflers with an X pipe.

so X will just be LOUD? aftemarket H sound nice and loud without being over the top? and as far as hp does the H alway as much airflow? or will you get more power with an x?

I have a BBK o/r x and original 40 series flows on my 97 GT, and it sounds pretty good, but I wish it was louder. On my 02 GT, I have a MAC o/r H with the same flowmaster catback, and it is louder and sounds better. The X isn't that bad, though.
