I ran a bone stock 89 coupe with 13 psi with no problems. It was very well tuned and the fuel system was upgraded. It made 376hp to the tires.

Can you run a stock cam with a supercharger...YES. Can you run a stock ehaust and a supercharger...YES. Is it recommened to do either for FI....NO! Remember that the stock cam was set up for a N/A 5.0 not a supercharged one. If you want the best results, get a cam designed for a supercharger 5.0 and a good tune. Lift is not as important as duration and LSA when dealing with a supercharger. FYI Also for me the type of supercharger ie roots, centi will also very the cam depending on the goals of the car. The only time you can get a way with using a N/A cam and a power adder is with the sauce.(N2O) Unless the car is only a track car. However I stillspec outthe cam a little different. In both situations. Good luck in reaching your goals.

why? youll spend much more by not doing a cam. You have to remember what a cam does, and how much more air will be shoved through with a larger one.

turbo's don't operate the same as superchargers so the cam choice isn't the same. You'll be fine with the stock cam with turbos a little on the larger side for more high end power. Smaller turbos create quite a bit more pressure in the exhaust manifold(s) so an n/a cam doesn't work well with small turbos.

I'm not saying it wont work... it will work plenty fine, but it's not good if you're looking for getting a lot of power.
